    Too true Just_Westy. When I was writing the post I come across an old Admiralty Annual Report that was raving about $3000 per tonne!!

    With current prices, I’d believe one could almost pick the lithium with twizers...

    On the other hand, long term contract prices are NOT $23,000 or anything near half of that.

    Still, $10,000 is very good and the reason why in a few years Australia will be producing 370,000 t of Li2CO3 from pegmatites, more than double current production.

    Who cares if it cost $5000 when they can sell for double that?
