Of course people can create their own course. This is the primary purpose of their SaaS platform.

VPC are a IT company that are providing a SaaS platforms and solutions. They have created a smart easy to use platform for other businesses they sell to, to develop their own content and training programs.

VPC are not trying or want to be Subject Matter Experts trying to create training content for all sorts of business as this is not their expertise or want to be a training company at present . They would and have of course create some example content and courses to help them sell the product but it is up to the business who they sell to, to create their own content for the business they are their own SME in.

VPC are a IT company they are looking for products and partners that are innovative, smart and different and looking to take a slice of that product market and ideally be new and disruptive to that market so they they are seen as being a leading or competeing product in the IT market.

They are not a training company. This is not their goal...maybe an option down the track, at the moment it is offering IT SaaS products and platforms, the more revenue options the better.

Any company out their that is a training company can easily create their own training content and put in on the internet affordably through their own built site (screens, videos, API, whatever) and they are selling their training packages and content to be a useable training course. This is a different market they are selling. Even I could build my own site and embed some you tube training videos of topics I am a SME on and it would cost me $1000 or less and I could sell my course to people and make money. I am selling my training content not my training software platform.

VPC are selling their feature rich training software platform. Sometimes targeted for specific business areas (sporting, minining, HR induction).

They don't need to know about Training provider compliance and standards as they are not a training provider. It would be handy to know this but someone talking to one person in a whole company does not mean they don't know this training compliance topic.

So let's compare apples to apples. Not apples to oranges.
