Yes the milk bottle ritual every morning at school in infants and primary.....before school went into class the milkman would deliver the milk to schools in the area....an every kid was entitled to one bottle a day an if any where left, they could have two or more....
Plus compulsory swimming classes, an injection shots by the government doctor an nurse.....everyone lined up for their turn.....no whinging and bitching back them.....everyone did their bit and families were glad to get it for free to look after their children....
These days it is a totally different story........
remember going to the movies and before the movie started.....they played a film clip or just music of God save the Queen and everyone would stand up and sing it......an if you did not stand up fast enough, you would get a clip across the ear...
The public these days would not even stand up if..... Advance Australia was played.... let alone know the Australian anthem....
Plus the cane in the old school days........you had no say in not getting it then.......( these days it would be child abuse and torture...) an the teacher would be banned for life and put in prison. An the child would have trauma counselling for life...
Arrrrrrrrrr the good old days....
Can someone put up the old Razzamatazz ads in the 70's and 80's...
