You guys are pretty funny. One of you has a go at me for not responding quick enough and another one has a go for spending too much time responding when I have a business to run.
It's my business and I decide how I allocate my time.
The suggestion earlier that I missed the boat is interesting considering I ran the ruler over this at listing, 4 cents and then 6 cents and decided not to buy. I say that so far I haven't missed the boat (more likely a ship called the titantic)
You guys seem pretty certain that they don't need any education or training people involved and yet these would be the people that would have all the industry contacts. The ability of this company to make sales has been woeful and I simply used my own experience to give an example.
I understand that I am not comparing apples with apples. VPC needs to be cash flow positive to stop the bleed. This could have been achieved a long time ago by engaging some training professionals and developing some really good e-learning and selling it along with the platform to their networks. Depending on the products, I am not sure I would agree 100% that they aren't scaleable and sure they can be copied but then again so can any new LMS features.
No doubt VPC is a technology play, but it's a technology play in the business of training and they don't seem to be offering anything unique. 3 or so years on this disruptive technology (their words) has been far from disruptive. That doesn't mean that VPC can't be successful, and I will continue to watch with interest. Customer acquisition is the key to success and I have see no real signs of desperation and unfortunately this is what is required. What I have seen is lots of evidence of manipulating of figures, excuses and watering down of sales targets when they should be ramping them up! Maybe this will come when they lose the ability to raise money from the market and are fighting for survival but I am hoping for the current shareholders sake that it comes sooner.
