I will agree with Turnbull on this matter and unless  Australia stands up and voice their disapproval of the whole saga it will go by the way side.

    “Dastyari must go.
He is not putting Australia first, and Shorten is utterly failing as a leader to leave him in the Senate.”
Asked whether the matter should be investigated, Mr Turnbull said: “you shouldn’t assume it’s not being investigated.”
“This is a political matter and I don’t give directions to our police or our security agencies on operational matters, and certainly in an area like this, that is a matter for them,” he said.

“I don’t give directions on operational matters, I’m not going to, it’s not appropriate, but the facts, there are a number of facts in the public domain and it is a matter for the relevant agencies to look at.”

Mr Turnbull said that if Mr Shorten wanted to lead Australia, he should stand up for Australia.
“His failure to do so means that he puts his factional survival, which depends apparently on Senator Dastyari, ahead of the national security of the country he wants to lead,” he said.

“It’s time for Bill Shorten to show that he’s really on Australia’s side and boot Dastyari out.”
