S32 may currently a good time to buy during up-trend weakness. This is buying in the value zone in contrast to buying "greater fool" top dollar zone when price is too far extended above the shorter-term moving averages. I recently fell for this trap when buying SYR at $4.48. SYR is now in a position where like S32 it better recover soon or the trade will be exited.

You can only make a finite amount of "mistakes" in the market until they are learnt from. But even with all technical entries addressed, there will still be losing trades that need to be dealt with. Even superstar traders in bull markets average roughly 70% win rate. The other 30% of trades can potentially do a lot of damage if stop losses are not taken at appropriate levels.

The alternative is that the short-term S32 up-trend is near its end. Price better recover soon. It has already broken below the trend line. The trailing stop loss for more conservative traders is around $3.07.

If S32 recovers, $3.20 to $3.60 is a handy 12.5% increase. For me, position size needs to be in the 7 to 10% range given S32's large cap and volatility mix.

Mining stocks have falling out of favour recently. FMG is the most bearish of the lot.
