That used a copper estimate of 340ktonnes. Now we have an INDICATED and inferred resource up to 1.24m tonnes
Almost 4x more copper, which doesnt includes the gold etc
THe desktop study using a copper price of US$2.80 at 20m tonnes per annum gave an NPV of $1.01billion. They also used a copper grade of 0.36%. The copper grade is now 0.48%. (33% better grade)
This will mean more copper produced from the same throughput and hence favourable to NPV.
Also, The copper price is currently US$3.50
Oh my goodness, the NPV is going to be so far beyond our wildest expectations.
And the valuation will based on real results.
We could be looking at an NPV well beyond $4 billion.
Apart from the copper resource being nearly 4 times more, the grades are better, the NPV is based on drilling, over half the resource is indicated, capital costs will not be materially higher than the original calc.
Also if they decide to increase throughput, the NPV will be much more favourable also.
I reckon we will see an NPV in the amount of $5 billion
This is going to be exciting
Any thoughts??
