Yes there sure is panic around this morning, some comments here make me laugh. As you said 'david75, its not even 9am in Perth yet, well not quite, not that the clock has much to do with what everyone was expecting this morning. All speculation and wishful thinking that an announcement would take place this morning.


In addition, I wonder if anyone has even considered as to how many interruptions there may have been on site over the last couple of days. It doesnt only take rain to halt drilling, but just the threat of an electrical storm. Remember, the drilling rig is a great big earth stake in the ground, extreme caution must be taken at all times.


Having been on many hundreds of drilling pads spanning more than fourty years, here is the Safety Motto of all drillers whenever there is the remotest possibilty that an electrical storm may be developing:

When you hear it - FEAR IT

When you see it = FLEE IT

So perhaps there may have been a few interruptions over the weekend?

The weather chart certainly reveals the possibilty, especially this morning.

A lot of patience needed here IMO.
