I would say they are the closest I have come to a leading indicator that I have found that tells me what the price action is doing at the moment. When I first started trading, I followed the 'Momentum trading' rules, and used to sit waiting for a 'bar in opposite thirds' to form that broke the previous high or low etc., and then watch as it reversed and I got stopped out. I'm talking SPI here, not other markets, so the price action changes and you need to stay with the short term trend, if you are trading short time frames. What is your price action methodology if you don't mind me asking ?
