I am a registered pharmacist in the great state of WA....I am well aware of the ever-increasing threat facing humanity that you speak of. Historically speaking, the human race is well overdue for mass epidemic, possibly of plague proportions, and it is only by virue of the incredible advances in medicine by humanity over the past 100 years, that we have staved off such disaster....I have no doubt that pestilence will return, and when it does, thanks to our overuse of treatments such as antibiotics and mass transportation, that when the right combination of mutations in a particular pathogen occurs, it will be devastating. You have no argument from me there.
However, that is a side issue to the topic of this thread, and not what my objection to your initial post outlined. It was about the merits of owning property, the argument of which you put forward I disagreed with.
