Thankyou Curnow too, for your kind words.
Most of the research I do is related to the SP of a stock and the reasons for the rapid change in volume traded today. I'd for a long time had the suspicion that once the MC of an ASX stock moved above $100m it meant something, but I didn't know what.
So, given my chart TA being in place for ~18 years, and being a numbers man (bean-counter) for >50, I guess I've cultivated a mind-set of being able to guess what to type into Google's
1. Exact-phrase search line, and
2. the "all these words" search line.
So today I typed into 1. : Market Capitalisation above $100m
and into 2. : Threshold for
The result I got was ~50? links, but as none of them included the word "threshhold" I then looked at the foot of the 2 Google pages on which these 50 links or so appeared, and found a number of refs. to "ASX 300" (meaning the top 300 ASX-listed stocks - INcluding 100 small-caps).
Thought "that's it!" and from there, as they say, "the rest is history". Guata.
