I agree, 'modern methodologies' is the key here.
But the key question is when did 'modern methodologies' emerge?
While it is true that much of the mining was wound up by the late 1800's, there have, according to the articles been 'later prospecting works' that have been 'unsuccessful'. And other investigations have apparently shown that the dobsina deposits are 'mined out'.
