GXY played its hand; market knows that there was no burning need to sign long term off-takes to secure reasonable project debt finance for SDV - would be overkill what GXY just did if it was just for SDV.
Would also explain stasis state of SDV for 11 months.
Would explain the so called fizzled rumours of panasonic.
Market is betting that a new (significant) round of cap raising will take place to fund acquisition / fast track to more production in LATAM and being a converter?? Meaning short / sell the hell out of it seems a reasonable bet.
Fits that SDV doesn't need equity injection - Tse's comments.
Kind of ironic that if GXY play a strategic game (with Bacchus and Turner), instead of a straight bat - of bringing SDV online - the instos with the funds to manipulate the SP win in the short term.
I really hope if this is the case, current retail equity holders are given the opportunity to buy in as a one-finger salute to the big end of town. Pipe dream would be that it is only open to retail holders - but that would never happen.
