molonski, fully agree. There may be a pullback in W.A.
All the talk now is that investors in W.A. are big time purchasing investment property in Victoria (Melbourne).
Also I am lead to believe Melbourne has one of the highest rate of migrants settling in Melbourne.
During the 2003-2005 period we saw a consolidation of property values in Melbourne, while Brisbane and in more recent times Perth were experiencing considerable growth.
This is the just the start of another boom in Melbourne (which we saw between 1999-2002). Expect it to continue for another 18-24 mths. Adelaide does offer some growth opportunity, however Melbourne's growth will be far greater.
Melbourne Median Value as announced today is $431,000 (still a long way to go).
Let's touch base in another 12 mths and see the increase.
By the way, what is the current median value of:
Perth
Sydney
Brisbane
