Personally, I hope the day traders don't take notice of SLT. Look at what happened the last time good news was imminent. Many jumped on for a short term announcement, sent SLT from 60's to 80's in a week. After the announcement, they all bailed out.
It's only good for the day traders if there is wider awareness and demand amongst the medium-to-long term investors as well. For longer term investors an announcement represents a milestone that reduces the risk and signals a buy.
I would rather wait for those meaty announcements that signals a huge share price rise.
By the way, is it time to worry that no news on finalising the Genelabs deal yet?
