In far north Queensland, where I live, we had a trial of daylight saving about 12 years ago. We had no daylight until 730 in the morning! It seriously sucks. Problem with DLS in northern Queensland is folks live much further west than places in the southeast. Those in the southeast who complain about lack of daylight saving may have a fair grievance but could always try moving to NSW?
