Sems It is not possible to predict the change in SOLGs share price as a function of the MRE in a short time frame.
The large number of world class intersections announced over the past year should translate into a world class MRE. If the market was rational we should see a move toward 50p for SOLG and thus a move above 0.30 for DGR as its new NTA after tax would exceed 0.30.
On a day to day basis traders control markets. I believe most of the top 50 share holders in SOLG and DGR are holding for the long term and wont be jumping in every day to protect the price.
Over the next 2 years DGR should rise if there are no fundamental changes in current commodity and global economic settings.
I agree with a number of the posters on the SOLG forum that the price is being held down.
There are many iSOLG nvestors with a horizon of less than a year who are sill sitting on a 2-26 bagger. Some traders had bought at 1p and sold at 49p if they timed the Zenith and Nadir. Thus 20K would have reached 980K. The shorter the time horizon of a trader the more stressed they become in the absence of news so the wait for the SOLG MRE will be burning synapses in many of their temporal lobes. Posters like the angry Geologist has the ability to completely freak out short termers and some mid and even long termers.
I have reservations about his motivation.
I cant predict the price at 31.12.17. The wolves may well panic the flock or the flock may rally around Saint Nicholas and execute the Lazarus manoeuvre.
