OK - I just sold all of my GDY today and bought GDYO with half of the proceeds.
With only half the investment in GDYO I will actually make roughly DOUBLE what I would have made in GDY if the underlying SP is higher on Jan 31 than it is now.
I hope I got those calculations right :)
Anyway, I think it is a very good bet with their finances sorted now, the likely media exposure after the Origin deal and the likelihood of environmentally friendly Rudd winning the election.
They have already succesfully drilled 1 hole...yeah they screwed up the next one but now they have much better equipment, so surely odds are on their side of getting it right this time?
Anyway, it will make it a lot more as exciting as I watch GDY for the next few months.
