I am not sure what you mean ageing is relative surely. I don't see how all the assets are suddenly ageing - Not even sure much technological change has happened in diesel generators in 2 years. If you are suggesting that solar and batteries can supply @ reasonable pricing we are about to see how much that costs. I agree there could be a oil price spike ... We could be seeing a change in future but maybe they seem to be realistic in what they do.

They do spook many as they don't have a huge institutional backing and 50% not traded so you always have that risk.

Africa - much harder to get going there you sometimes may in certain locations need private security to guard assets- fuel is a commodity there much like cigarettes...
