@StockDebater. I appreciate you commenting about the Berkshire model which allows me to clarify and expand on what I was trying to point out about GOOD model investment companies that EVE " appears" to becoming. Time will provide proof of "Gold" or "Pyrite" IMO.
Firstly, SD mentioned "
Cashcow" and its enabling facilities to invest. It was a very good description actually.
Cash cow actually is a metaphor for a dairy cow that produces milk over the course of its life and requires little maintenance. So...after the initial capital outlay has been paid off, the cow continues to produce milk for many years to come.
In the business world a C
ash cow is a business venture that
generates a steady return of profits that far exceed the outlay of cash required to acquire or start it.
EVE has the potential to be a great Cash cow IMO, with investment backing to "continually " invest (
cash cow analogy) in companies that will return good profits to their shareholder base in the light of ongoing good business practices and accountability to market.
Why did I mention the
Berkshire Model?
Warren Buffett/Berkshire Hathaway works off two principles as well, but his methods of investing /acquiring companies were a little more brutal and strategic than EVE's model. But it has taken his company from $8.00 a share to $294,385.34USD a share today.
BH works on the two bucket principle 1. They acquire underperforming (market) tickers, as a major shareholder/owner, with good fundamentals and good potential earning bases; buying in on the cheap to raise their profile; attracting more potential investors to both the company and the parent company. 2. These companies are then, partly shielded from market valuations and having BH as the parent company the share price has more value with banks, and lending institutions are more likely to bank roll loans for this ticker thus increasing its overall net worth and value. Its price goes up; BH price goes up. Win! Win!
Now there are many, many other variables to this of which I am sure people are welcome to draw out. I have simply presented a picture of the potential of an IE company, like EVE.
I also know, that at the moment, EVE doesnt hold majority shares, but the fundamentals of finding small companies with huge potential is sound as they grow. EVE, IMO, are creating a solid portfolio of investment companies, getting IPO's started and when established with consolidated revenues, the returns will produce IMO, a double banger for EVE and its shareholders...so that is my clarification for using the BH model.
