People here need to get a dose of reality. Firstly government grants of this nature are rarely if ever given to first time applicants. You can bet that the recipients of these particular grants where on their 2nd 3rd or 4th attempt. It's a case of finding out where and in what areas your application needs to improve and the government will have another look at it next time around. The companies have to move up in the queue so to speak. With additional information as suggested the application for funds could well be accepted next year.
Also a few months ago people weren't even aware of this particular grant now it's suddenly a big deal that it wasn't obtained. Mr King said at the AGM that if the grant was not obtained that the scale of the trails would not be as big pure and simple.
By all accounts everybody who spoke to Mr David Trench at the AGM said he was very impressive and competent. He's only recently come on board so would have some of his own idea's, thoughts and contacts so lets see what he can deliver.

You've got people acting like this is the first time in history a stock price has moved up or down prior to an announcement being released to market. It happens every day on every market around the world as this is the game we choose to play. As adults we know the game and how it's played and if people don't like it or haven't got the stomach for speculative investing they should get out and stick to their knitting.
