Hi Folks,
I'm long, full disclosure and all that.
With regard to a capital raise, isn't that what is happening now? I thought that the days of announcing a capital raise before having something in the pipeline had pretty much passed?
I thought that much of the idea of a roadshow is to whip investors into a frenzy so they want to buy. An institution comes on wanting a seven figure holding and rather than have them sweat over building a position, you do them a favour and print them some new shares so they are filled in a oner.
And then only after the roadshow, if such a strategy fails to hook the sort of fish you hoped for, then would the company consider a more old style capital raise. Or do I have it all wrong?
