As Kapoto said it was politically motivated in the hope that the strength of feeling against BCL would reduce, if not go away, if Renzie was excluded.

Not only did the feeling against BCL not reduce, it increased, with both anti BCL petitions created & produced since Renzie's visa was cancelled.

Sorry freefall, but not everything is as it seems, you have to look behind the words & take into account the speakers agenda to interpet what they are actually saying.

Renzie is a very good friend of the SMLOLA.

They have great trust & faith in him & that is very hard to achieve given the recent war & that Renzie is white. They realise he is working to achieve something for them, their families & future generations.

Anyway, all this talk is hot air. We cannot change anything that is happening in Bougainville & PNG.

I expect the issue to become very clear before the end of 2017 with both PNG & ABG governments announcing their intentions.
