If you read the link I posted to the Padley article I believe both F/A and T/A need to be looked at but if you think XYZ stock is different because of XYZ you are succumbing to market noise and noise will be the ruin of any technical trader

As an aside no matter what the chart was saying I would not invest in a stock like this because it would be outside my risk profile - Many years ago I was invested in an Aussie oiler called Hardman resources ( HDR ) its was drilling for oil offshore in Mauritania and onshore in Uganda

During my time as investor I endured 2 military coups in Mauritania and the corruption in Uganda - - it was at that point I was sworn off sovereign risks stocks for life .
