Actually for me cortis the best years were during the time of Hawke/Keating. I was running a very successful small business, housing was affordable as the higher interest rates then were negated by much lower prices and the world was a peaceful and rosy place. In general I would say people were happier then than they are today due to less stress. I hope after this federal election the new government can unwind the stress and unhappiness many are enduring today due to this governments policies and plain nastiness. Dave R.
