I agree, i have not seen any bad news.
To be fair even at worst case Megastar can run standalone with mini competition like spotlight while it increases it's downloads & users.
Revenue from 'Gifting' can cover part or all of prizes. It was proven with an extra competition like 'Meet Usher' people were willing to spend in-app.
The app is of very high quality already. For some who's seen the beta version have experienced gamification features.
MSM is very strategic everything they do has a very good reason.
