It has never ceased to amaze me how some of those who stridently post in support of RTG ignore the reality of the majority landowner support BCL has in Bougainville, that BCL no longer has any effective links with RIO and the ABG owns over 51% of the new BCL and thus future mining returns are owned "locally". To conflate RIO with the new BCL is a deception that does not withstand the most superficial scrutiny. It seems to me the spruikers of RTG are desperately trying to confuse any party interested in an unbiased view on the future of Bougainville.
