@img999a - in reply to your question above I believe that even if they continue to find good grades of laterite it will be a huge struggle for them to ever convince a bank to lend them hundreds of millions of dollars to build a laterite processing plant after all the technical and financial problems encountered by the other laterite producers in Australia which were much larger companies and funded during the mining boom a decade ago when the price of nickel was much higher.

The real question: is there a sulphide deposit which has sufficient grade and size to be economically viable. Just finding sulphides isn't going to be enough.
