    raider,
A good observation, but I think it goes much deeper than that.

The union bosses are running an obvious campaign of deception with rudd, the latest face through the swinging-door of labor party leadership, as their latest wind-up doll.

The extent to which rudd's claimed policy platform mirrors the succesful policies of John Howard's government is staggering.

Very little information would be lost if John Howard stood there and stated his policies and then rudd stood there and just stated the two words "me too".

What is incredible is that the union bosses seem to think that rudd's blatant parroting of John Howard's policies will somehow go unnoticed by the voting public.

Even worse, I noted that one poster claimed that he did not agree with rudd's stated platform and he hoped (maybe expected) that the labor regime would "correct" these if they manage to seize power.

How a votor of concience can still plan to vote for labor despite dissaproving of the policies presented and an expectation that this is all just another labor party deception is a mystery to me.

The labor die-hards and Howard-haters know that rudd's stated policies are a convenient fiction, a deception to fool some portion of swing voters. The union bosses have no intention of actually following through with any of their stated election promises.

The union bosses continuing game plan of deception seems to be to ensure that there is a close to total media blackout on any slips, such as the recent garret fiasco and the truth of the planned gst increase, that show that the real plan once they gain power, is to impliment a dengerously regressive set of far left economic and social policies to benefit the union bosses and their communist party cronies.

It is a time to be very careful.
