Your observation is valid. Although, AVZ got a load of Lithium (being called KSA for Lithium) but that to be extracted first which itself is a big challenge. DRC will have leadership change next year which is an unknown beast. I have learned from a source that there could be 2 potential candidates and one of them is pro-mining which can be good thing for AVZ. But hey it's Africa, nothing is certain.
To mine and then ship the resource, you need an infrastructure. If Chinese are spending that money on building the infrastructure then we don't know what they are getting in return. Will that work for AVZ? don't know.
If someone wants to overtake AVZ then this might be a strategy to keep the sp down.
As a share-holder I only hear talks about take-over and/or someone is ready to do the drilling.
The stock price is going to move only if there is some action on either front. Until then it's purely speculative. IMO. peace & DYOR
