If you look around Nov 23-24 the SP was already showing signs of ending its little run, then we had the big news re Lithium in Namibia.

This was followed by four good days of upward motion, however by the fifth day SP looked to have hit its ceiling. Like all good news stories, excitement fades, so I dare say SP was about to retreat anyway. Plus we have the usual Xmas slow down and sell off.

I imagine WKT would have been guided by Pattersons re the VWAP (Hauyou just brought into NZU on a 30 day VWAP). So it could have been worse. Although 10.1c appears to be low compared to highs of 20c, I do believe at this stage of the game and time of year 14,15,16c etc would have been fleeting until next year when news of substance appeared again. Remember, we are still very much under the radar here. Namibian Lithium been raised across other HC threads but that's about it? But we LT holders know what the real game is here.

If this truly was a shitty deal shareholders wouldn't have been offered a crumb. It would have been nice if entitlement dates were backdated to remove the incentive to dump now and buy back in just prior to the cut off date. But that's about the only gripe I have. Yes it would have been nice to raise a few cents higher but I guess it's about locking in as many new investors as quickly as possible.

WKT must be expecting a busy year next year (they now have three active sites in three different countries). So they've locked this extra cash in now during a go slow period and should have little to slow them down next year when and if the right triggers are pulled.

I guess what I'm saying is we will know next year if this was the right move.

IMO it basically was.

I am struggling with all this talk of the CR being a poor result for long term holders... 1 month ago this was trading between 8-9c.

So the raise is between 15-25% above that price and should provide a good base to move forward from.

Holders are able to take advantage of the raise and purchase more rights to increase their holding % if they so wish as well (Although tbh I don’t like the rights being renounceable) but I expect the SP to bounce back to the 11-12c mark over the coming days.
