RFG should consider giving shareholders a discount card for use at all of the RFG franchisees. The discount should be equivalent to whatever RFG would normally receive on the sale, and then this sale should be exempt from the franchisee having to pay RFG its fee on this transaction.
It might cost a bit to implement, but at least it would be a good PR exercise for RFG, in showing that they are trying their best to support their franchisees. It would probably result in more sales - maybe not so much on small value items such as coffee, but perhaps on pizzas etc. At least as shareholders, we can get some perks whilst watching our shares going down the toilet.
