I wonder why smart people are interested in data free and IOT?

Riddle me this!

What do a fridge, a street light and and a water meter now all have in common?

They now have the capacity to access the internet.

What other appliances or things have or will have smart capacity in the coming years? Electricity meters? Driverless cars? Kettles etc. etc.

So how do you integrate smart technology in society and avoid programming each iteration individually to access a particular network. And what if that network fails?

Are you really going to program every fridge you sell world wide at point of sale or allow consumers to program access?

IMO the future of the mobile internet whether IOT or blockchain will be owned by those that are able to provide a low cost and consistent interface across carriers world wide and to allow for the development of apps that provide access to a globally integrated carrier network.

It is manadated in the EU and necessary throughout the world for so many of the new data applications to function.

So who has the technology and the relationships to provide this type of service and coverage? Don't sell the TATA relationship short either IMO.

Traveller app and rollout world wide can't come soon enough! Add a functioning TATA relationship and .....
