This forum has been hijacked by current/former franchisees trolling the company.

If you survey 2,500 business's, of course there will be stories of business's struggling to pay their bills and not complying with laws such as minimum wages.

However these struggling franchisees should be aware that they may well be trading whilst insolvent, and as directors could be personally responsible for any debts incurred after their business becomes insolvent.

It is the franchisees responsibility to pay correct wages and comply with Australian laws. This article, whilst attempting to highlight the problem of profitability amongst some franchisees within the RFG network, is highlighting that some of the franchisees are doing the wrong thing, not RFG. In fact, it highlights that RFG is trying to ensure that its franchisees comply with Australian laws.

It also highlights that many franchisees are immigrants, who have used the RFG franchise system to assist with their immigration into our country - a fact previously raised on this forum.

Again, another biased article by Fairfax against RFG. Fairfax seem to overlook the fact that some franchisees who are contributing to their articles, are breaking Australian laws by trading whilst insolvent. Of course, all the blame gets attributed solely to the franchisor.
