    Dunno about the wisdom of throwing the baby out with the bathwater because of fear that the market is due for a big correction ....

    But I can understand how some may feel that way and play it accordingly.

    I still prefer to treat individual stocks on their merits and hold them until their uptrend is violated.

    I only ever buy uptrending stocks or stocks that give a clear reversal signal ... selling too soon can cost one dearly.

    But once they break the trend it's 'out they go' ... and they stay out until a positive trend re-emerges.

    Let the winners run and cull the losers (quickly and unemotionally)

    Going 100% cash on the back of fear of what might happen is not something I would normally contemplate.
