    Oh, sorry, perhaps this is more relevant, but to timmyjulys quote from bigbradwolfs post, the last paragraph, in relation to your post re the GP from NZ and matters of the heart. Only talking about one trial, one of those MSB didn't fund.

    Apart from everything else he has an interest in ventricular assist devices, including a share in a provisional patent on a sleeve adapter, maybe they needed extra or better bits sometimes.

    The primary outcome of the trial he is an investigator on is testing to see if patients can be weaned off their LVAD. That also forms part of the secondary outcomes along with many others including cognition and quality of life questions.

    Myself I take the quote from Dr. Woo as spoken by a bloke who knows his specialty as few do.
