I had friends (2 brothers) in primary school who were paler in complexion than I.
They received the usual benefits (ie; free dental) for being of Aboriginal descent.
While studying Aussie history, primary school style, one brother revealed his family were also descendants of George Bass and had brought the family tree to show us.
I don't begrudge these lads for receiving these free benefits and as I grew up I was able to see the funny irony of their situation.
There's so much in life that just does not add up!
