Not sure what point you are trying to make.
If you invested $550K in a Sydney median priced home 6-7 years ago you'd be selling it for around $1M now AND would have collected a rental income of $150K or more along the way.
If you invested $550K in LYC 6-7 years ago you would have received NO dividends and you'd be left with just $36K
