Anyone naive to think that retailing has a future with such exuberant rents are kidding themselves, Frank Lowy is the smartest guy in the room, Westfield's future will be based on undeniable lower rents making the shopping centres a dismal return as fixed overheads increase, once the domino effect of the collapse of retailing will feed into the economy of an ever increasing stretched household balance sheet and mark my words we will need our own QE to prop up a collapsing economy predicated on useless high immigration
