    Are we to suppose God poured out some of Himself "on every sort of flesh" ?

    Yep "BECAUSE" that's what the Bible tells us (Spirit of Truth), so I will let it do the talking and answer your question/point.
    HOWEVER, will You answer the question at the end of this post that I have asked you several times now with No answer?

    I will just give some of the key words in the following references;

    Firstly though, one needs to grasp - John 4:24 God is a Spirit, AND - Eph 4:4 There is ONE Spirit.
    1 Cor Ch 12 Tells us, there are many gifts BUT ONE Spirit that works or is responsible for them all.
    Now logic tells us just here alone, if God is a Spirit and there is only One Spirit, then God must be The Holy Spirit.

    1 Cor 3:16 - Spirit OF God dwells IN you.
    1 Cor 6:19 - Our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit IN you.
    2 Cor 6:16 We are the temple of God, He said, I will dwell IN them and walk IN them.

    Just in these verses alone, confirms the above statement, You have the same writer saying, God dwells in you and the Spirit of God dwells in you = Spirit of God and God ARE one in the same and supported in Acts 5:4-5 Because, if you lie to the Holy Spirit, you are in fact, lying to God.
    I doubt very much the the Holy Spirit goes away and reports to God, like,,,,, nar nar he lied.

    2 Tim 1:14 Holy Spirit dwells IN you.
    Eph 2:22 Our bodies,,,, habitation of God through the Spirit = God is a Spirit = one in the same.
    Rom 8:9 Spirit of God dwells IN you.
    John 14:23 Jesus says - We (he and God) will come and make their with us. (Our Body is part of the House, Jesus being the cornerstone, to which we build upon).
    Jesus is to build God a new house, Houses are for living in Mr G.
    Hence at John 1:14, God dwelt in the Tabernacle/Tent/Flesh of Jesus.
    Confirmed in John 14:10-11 And Acts 2:22 tells us, The miracles that Jesus did, were actually God doing them through Jesus.

    Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine but be filled with the Spirit = The context here with the wine, (parallelism to the Spirit) ) is certainly NOT talking about being in Unity with it, as it is to be "IN" you.

    1 John 4:12 God dwells IN us
    1 John 4:13 We dwell in him and he IN us, BECAUSE he hath given us of His Spirit.

    How does he do this -
    Psa 139:7-10 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? (Speaking to God here Mr G).
    If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
    If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
    Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

    I have no idea WHY you have trouble understanding this clear and obvious point.
    God through his Spirit which is him, can be anywhere and everywhere in whatever "measure" he so chooses.
    With Jesus, there was no measure = Emmanuel - God with us via His Spirit, The Holy Spirit.

    Now,,, Your Question;
    Can you please enlighten US, HOW do you justify changing the IN word with Unity and the "many" other words you "have" to change so this Unity can fit in?
    It's a question that needs answering and unity, in no way can be supported from the Greek.
