off topic but remember its not the business that makes the hamburger that gets rich, its the business that invents it, which is why this country needs the brains for tomorrow.
this is just one other reason i hate this govt.
our scientists obliged to move offshore. too many to name.
our universities massively underfunded. 30 -35 students per class. standards lowered to accomodate 'guests'. most aussie uni's are also compelled to bring in overseas students, who learn how to invent stuff. soon they'll think it up make it cheap and sell to us for buku dollars.
public education massively underfunded, huge classes, basic resources. esp compared to most other first world nations. fewer smart kids going to uni. there are english students about who cannot write a coherent sentence.
generally, if we keep going, we will just be the quarry to the world, and everyone else will service the quarryworkers.
bring on bishops merit pay scheme and we'll soon have a whole underclass of children cum adults who didnt attend the best schools with the best teachers with the best pay with the best students with the best attitude. the other teachers will go to other schools that will soon have lower standards and attract lesser quality teachers. and so it goes.
