I happened to be around to buy ryobal's shares and also when they dumped them when they released the FPS. Was in the T20s in the initial year I bought into BGS. After a chat with aptayl, I became a staunch supporter of BGS.
At the AGM, I seriously question the old board about the issuing of cheap shares to certain parties. Although there were unhappiness in what was happening, I was surprised no one raised any issues with the board at AGM. Haplo was so unhappy after that AGM that he sold out.
I supported boy1 and was a party in the 249Ds list because I thought boy1 had the guts to personally delivered the requisition and also gave his reasons for our action. Where I deferred from some of the other supporters was, I put my name to it. I had nothing against the old board personally but became frustrated by their certain actions and non sensitive to our requests.
We had our own private AGM lunch after the 2015 BGS meeting in which WW was entertaining his own personal guests. If anything I valued most today, is to form a friendship with some of the BGS shareholders here. The enjoyment and entertainment that BGS has provided me is really second to none, it made up for all the difficulties we had been through together throughout the years.
