Guys
What's everyone's thoughts on this push we are seeing from the likes of Honda and Nissan to be building solid state batteries that dont require rare earth nor expensive resources like cobalt?
Given the huge rise in rare earth and cobalt prices there is obviously big financial incentives as the EV market takes off to significantly reduce the cost per KW of battery costs in order to get the range people are after to switch from combustion to electric..
Honda is saying by 2020 they will be building solid state which has less chance of catching fire and can store more energy than lithium batteries produced now
