You are only arguing against the 'God image' as we are unable to conceive what is God
IMO God is a potentiality that is independent of time and space -----the sum of the consciousness in the universe

I think the word 'God' is too closely associated with the old books filled with myths, fear, incest, hate, killing, various phobias of all kinds, injunctions on what we can eat etc etc etc.
If we have to acknowledge the sum of the conscious in / of the Universe, why not simply pay homage to 'The Universe'. Let's get past nonsense origin stories, religions, and all such vehicles for the whole-sale brainwashing of human children from birth.
