From chippydude's point of view, anything is good news for Myer. Closing store would strengthen sales per square meter, rights issue could boost myer's share price to 90 cents, performance downgrade is nothing, share price keep dropping makes Myer a more valuable investment everyday. No point to further argue with his points. I don't think market had proven him right, but at the end of the day, he's the one buying Myer shares, I rather wish him right than seeing one loose his hardworking money.
