Hi Sabine, you are so right. Exactly what has been on my mind. Why would a capsule or a tablet be any better than the other? Why would you test the efficacy of any analgesic on an animal if you didn't know how it worked on a human? Give a couple of panadeine forte to a human and he/she will be able to tell you whether it has had any effect controlling his/her pain. Give the same dose/body mass to any other mammal, and you are not likely to get a meaningful response. Not verbally, anyway. My limited understanding of the history of biochemical analgesia as I recall was the human discovery that willow bark alleviated pain in Egyptian and Sumerian times - thousands of years later it was determined that willow bark contains salicylates- where aspirin is derived from. The point is that these early people found pain relief from eating willow bark - and may have fed the same to their husbanded animals, I do not know if that is true, but I am pretty certain that today we don't really use animals in this sense in a 'horse before the cart' sense.
It is wonderful that research is lately being directed towards finding out more about the therapeutic potential of the 300+ identified organic molecules and compounds known to exist in the cannabis oil, but it sounds to me a little like the millions of (as yet) unidentified plant and animal species that live in the rainforests - how do we know what is in there? - no government has been willing to put up the money to find out just how many things there are! We are just told that they are there, and we believe them!
So, I am skepical. Just like I knew nothing about HC four weeks ago, I am reading a lot about A2 milk now, and AEB - I don't doubt the honesty and sincerity of all of this, I just feel that so many silly announcements really amount to very little, that is my opinion only.
I had no desire to upset anybody. I still hold my QBL shares and hold great hope that one day that QBL will be shipping its bauxite and become cash positive in its own right. I think that QBL really was in a bind, cash-flow wise. If that is true, then from what I understand, it wont be long before QBL does start shipping. I know that I've waited three years now.
There are a lot of other irregularities of late, esp the 20t Australian held seed bank - being Australian, it doesn't need to be irradiated, denatured etc - but then we were told that 40t was available - so we have 20t Aussie grown, non-irradiated, non 'denatured' - and all of a sudden another 20t appears - - - well, this must be from OS, because it certainly wasn't from Australia - - - so, don't get me wrong, I can see 20t Aussie seed, pure and unadulerated, plus 20t from somewhere else . . . and if it comes across Australian quarantine borders, this extra 20tonne must be irradiated . . . . . .
If this story is true, we have 20t Aussie, unadulterated, and 20t O/S - irradiated and dentured. . . . . .in complete contradiction to MCL's stated claim that all Vitahemp seed will be Aussie and unlike all O/S competitors, pure and unadulterated. I challenge this. First it was 20tonne of pure aussie grown seed, licensed to market. Then an ANN specified that there were 40tonne ready for production, pressing etc.
And now, today, somebody in the past 24 hours starts talking about 80 tonnes. Chinese whispers. Last I heard, the bloke at MCL, Mr K. . . only had 20 tonnes of the stuff. So where did the 80 tonnes come from? I have no idea other than my suspicion that people do talk and do tend to ramp up things just a little bit. The 80 tonnes do not exist. What does exist is the 20tonne Aussie grown seed bank. That was what we were told. My only advice to any of you HC people who are listening. I intend to hold all of my stock. I totally believe that QBL will make a worth of its Sth Johnstone mine. I have not the slightest confidence in this marijuana and hemp thing. Yes, we all smoked the stuff back in the 80's and we got stoned. that is not the point. Actually, I had a pretty good time, but that is not the point.
If I were you guys who are trying to figure what to do cum opening bell on 27/12 - I still believe that QBL will shoot forth.

I am very twixt in stating my feelings. Come opening on the ASX in a couple of day's time,

I still believe that QBL has a really bright future, pot or no pot. Than you all and God bless you all for our Xmas xxxx
