When I saw that picture of trench 7 below I thought the green line is the sandstone layer that divided the 2 conglomerate horizons with nuggets in both. But Novo stated that it is the basal contact. So my question is if it is the basal contact then why are there nuggets below the contact zone which should be the basement rock? Can anyone else shed some light on this?
