My view is generally "stuff the chart". Down-rampers will interpret the chart one way, up-rampers the other, many of us just scratch our heads. The chart shows what happened not necessarily what will happen.
What affects the share price is fundamentals (company and industry), finances, news and sentiment. You need to know enough to make sense of it all.
