    My point is that most, not all politicians, are in it for the power that the office holds. Whilst they may say this and that, when it comes too the crunch they are more concerned about there position.
    Cases in point, Bob Hawke not wanting too be PM but Bill Hayden rolled anyway.
    KRudd not wanting too be Leader but Kim Beazly rolled.
    John Howard shafted Peacock
    John Howard shafted Costello
    Costello backstabbed Howard
    Only a few examples all pointing too self preservation. I guess I'm just cynical of all politicians.
