I'm due to get the $8000 rebate plus a $990 BP cash-back rebate leaving us to pay around $16,000 for the total set-up - 12 panels, gizmo box that converts rooftop DC into 240 AC plus meter-box alterations and wiring.
There is some talk that the sale price of solar power into the Canberra grid will be lifted to four times to price of buying power from Actwe-AGL - but I won't count that chlcken until it's hatched!
